For this project, we studied portraits in art and looked at one of the most famous portraits in the world - Mona Lisa painted by Leonardo DaVinci.
We also spent time discussing what the students wanted to "be" when they grew up. We also looked at the many different kinds of careers that people have in our communities including the many different types of art careers. The students had definite ideas already of what future career they wanted to have. At 6, the world of possibilities is wide open!
