Welcome! This blog has been created for my art students and their families. Here I will showcase examples of student work, provide more information about the art lessons and how the students can explore our art topics at home. Kindergarten - Kids in the snow
A quick one day project for one of my art classes that was "ahead of the game". With the snow falling outside our class window as inspiration, we used oil pastels on blue construction paper to draw kids catching snowflakes. They were shown how to combine the shapes to make the children's head then they were let loose to design their scarfs, sweaters and snow with colors and patterns. I just love the way these turned out!
