| Wayne Thiebaud Neapolitan Meringue 1986 |
Second graders were introduced to the artist, Wayne Thiebaud. Mr. Thiebaud is known for his style of painting yummy desserts in a way that makes you want to pick them off the canvas and eat them. To create our own version of Wayne Thiebaud desserts, our artists learned how to draw 3-dimensional forms and add value (lights and shadows) to make their art look more realistic.
